The Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers Top Trumps Card Game
Release Year: 2003
Dimensions: 63mm x 100mm
Number of Game Cards: 30
"The Two Towers," the second part of the Lord of the Rings trilogy, features familiar and new characters. Released in 2002, it was accompanied by a 2003 Weetabix promotion and a 2003 Parker Brothers version in the US. A 2004 Trilogy Gift Set was also released. Notably, the Legolas and Dwarves cards lack the "tm" symbol. Gandalf, originally known as Olorin, became Gandalf (The Grey) upon arriving in Middle-earth. In this set, he's referred to as "Gandalf, The White," a shift resembling his taking on Saruman's role. A Balrog Super Top Trump (STT) card is included.
STT cards, also called Supercards in the US, weren't part of the original pack. They're found in related merchandise, events, promotions, or in booster packs of 2–10 cards.
